The morning of your wedding is a fun, exciting time that can be one of a bride’s very favorite parts of the day. However, without some pre-planning, this time can easily become very hectic! Taking time to focus on these details will help set you up for success to have the best wedding morning possible. My top three tips are below!
It's officially the Friday of Fourth of July weekend and I. Am. Pumped. In case you missed my last post, the Fourth of July is hands-down my favorite holiday. I woke up this morning singing Grand Ol' Flag, I have my red, white, and blue outfits planned for the weekend, and I brought my patriotic pom-pom pen to work. I'm ready.
Part of the reason why I'm so excited for this particular Fourth of July weekend is because it's the first weekend in more than a month that my husband and I will both be home! My Love Language is quality time and I'm a textbook introvert, so being home and spending time with Micah is my 100% ideal situation. We were talking last night about how gloriously unscheduled July is going to be, so we decided to make a few Summer goals to encourage us to make the most of our time together.
I'm going to let you guys in on little secret - I love Independence Day. The 4th of July has always been my favorite holiday. I don't know if it's because my dad is a career military officer or if it's because I grew up so close to the Nation's capital, but I've always had a heightened sense or patriotism. I'll take fireworks, watermelon, and family time on the patio over Christmas carols, Easter brunch, or Thanksgiving dinner any day of the week. I'm getting pretty fired up just thinking about it, actually.
After taking a few days to reflect on it, I can honestly say that this wedding was the most joy-filled celebration I have ever been a part of! Jack and Jewels didn't stop beaming from the time they saw each other until they hopped in the vintage truck at the end of the evening. There were more than a hundred guests who stuck around for their 11 p.m. sparkler exit - a true testament to just how many people adore these newlyweds.
I am so excited for you to meet Juliann! I have been working closely wih Juliann and her mom Marylee for almost a year crafting every detail of their big day. It has been such a JOY to work with them, along with Juliann's fiance Jack, and I can't wait to see it all come together this weekend.
Juliann has an absolute heart of gold, and her deep love for her family has been evident in seemingly every aspect of the planning process. I can't believe the big weekend is here - enjoy getting to know #JackandJewels in the interview below!
